About the Artist

I am a makeup artist based in New York City with over six years of industry experience. I provide services for weddings and events, as well as for film, TV, print, and theater. Before I became a makeup artist, I studied oil painting at the San Francisco Art Institute. There I learned color theory (and blending skills), that I still use in my craft. I got my start in 2019 posting creative / avant-garde makeup online, where I eventually connected with the team at The McKittrick Hotel. In my time there, I honed in my theatrical and special effects skills, learning everything between flawless skin and fake mustaches. Now, you will typically find me at the Kimara Ahnert Studio in the Upper East Side, making brides happy and beaming with confidence! In my spare time, I still enjoy painting.
